Job title - Sr. Business Analyst

Location - Dallas, TX / New York

Contract, 5days onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirement gathering, documentation, and analysis for complex business problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, finance, and operations.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and system requirements.
  • Conduct gap analysis and propose process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, performance metrics, and business opportunities.
  • Support development and testing teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Create and deliver reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
  • Assist in project scoping, planning, and prioritization based on business impact.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or related graduate degree is a plus.
  • 5 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a senior or lead role.
  • Strong experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Excel, Tableau/Power BI, or similar.
  • Proven ability to elicit and document clear and concise business and functional requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience working with stakeholders at all levels, including C-level executives.
