Job Title:Lab Operation Lead/ Director

Position Type: Full-time

Location: Foster City, CA

Role/Responsibilities-

Responsible for maintaining the laboratories as a safe, functional, and compliant environment.

Coordinate with external instrument/equipment vendors and facilities for installation and deployment of

new laboratory systems.

Support small projects for coordination of instrument moves and work with facilities to complete tasks.

Responsible to develop SOPs and testing procedures of emerging/existing technologies, i.e., new laboratory instruments and equipment. Provide training to end-users on newly

deployed systems.

Review instrument calibrations performed by instrument vendor.

Evaluate lab support records for compliance with SOPs, review for completeness and accuracy and reports findings/metrics.

Responsible for system account administration and system audit trail review for standalone systems.

Maintain oversight of equipment storage areas.

Perform defrost of laboratory freezers. Triage lab related support tickets , may forward to system support team, or coordinate instrument repairs.

Required to be onsite resources in laboratory setting. Lab Operations Lead manages the team that perform the above activities
