Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Release Engineering Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in full-stack development, containerization technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools), cloud services, and DevOps practices to manage and automate our release pipeline, ensuring seamless and efficient deployment cycles. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, improve system performance for our CI/CD tooling, and support a scalable system for the Continuous Delivery.

Responsibilities

As a member of the release engineering division, you will perform

CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for software release automation across various environments (Dev, QA, Staging, and Production).

Containerization & Orchestration: Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes to streamline deployments and manage microservices.

Cloud Services Integration: Hands-on experience in integrating with cloud services on any cloud platforms preferably OCI

Automation & Scripting: Develop and automate build and deployment scripts using Python, Shell, Bash, Groovy or similar scripting languages.

Release Management: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage the release process, track deployments, and ensure releases are delivered on time with minimal issues.

Monitoring & Logging: Expertise in implementing monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and manage logging systems (e.g., ELK stack) to ensure system health, performance, and availability.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and implement infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Version Control & Branching Strategy: Ensure proper version control practices and branching strategies are followed using Git (or similar) to manage code releases and deployments.

Security & Compliance: Integrate security and compliance best practices in the CI/CD pipeline to ensure secure and compliant code releases.

Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA, and operations to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and ensure smooth application deployments.

Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze and improve performance of build systems, deployment pipelines, and cloud-based infrastructure.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $102,200 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
