Job Summary:
We are seeking a POD Lead AI/ML to join our Workplace Technology Engineering team. Under the supervision of the Workplace Technology Engineering Manager, this role will be responsible for planning, developing, and maintaining scalable applications that align with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in front-end and back-end development, as well as experience leading engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate and plan software development tasks and project timelines.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to gather and refine requirements for new and existing modules.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders as needed.
- Evaluate, maintain, and improve the existing codebase using software engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot and research issues, and recommend effective solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and tools; recommend and adopt relevant technologies.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to engineering best practices.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality solutions that meet project goals and deadlines.
- Define and guide engineering strategy for current and future applications.
Key Qualifications:
- 5 10 years of experience designing and developing large-scale applications.
- Proficiency in front-end development using HTML and CSS.
- Strong experience with Vue.js (Vue 2 or 3).
- Backend development experience with Python and FastAPI for RESTful APIs.
- Solid experience in data modeling and writing complex SQL queries using PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Strong debugging and diagnostic skills.
- Proficient in version control using Git.
- Basic understanding of DevOps processes including Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to continuously learn and improve.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including designers and developers.
