Senior Manager, Network Engineering (Project Delivery)
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
This position will be responsible for overseeing scoping and delivery of network related projects and optimizing all existing network services.
The role will require advanced networking knowledge in areas of LAN, WAN, Routing, Datacenter SDN and Cloud Networking.
Prior experience managing internal teams through project scoping and execution. (previous experience as solutions engineer or architect a plus)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of network engineers in delivering complex projects.
- Utilize AIOps platforms to enhance network performance, reliability, and security.
- Break down complex technical projects into manageable tasks and create detailed project plans.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Ensure network infrastructure meets availability, performance, reliability, and security standards.
- Interact with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to understand and meet business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.

Minimum Salary: $168,800.00
Maximum Salary:$242,650.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $168,800.00 and $242,650.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.

Basic Qualifications
- BE/BS in Computer Science or Computer engineering or Electronics and information science or equivalent experience
- Other vendors technical certification is good to have
- Expert Knowledge of Juniper Enterprise and Datacenter solutions, *JNCIE/JNICP or above certification is desirable.
- 8+ years of hands-on Network Administration/Design for LAN and WAN
- 6+ Years of experience managing Network teams.
- Expert knowledge of BGP, OSPF, STP, MPLS, VPLS, DNS, DHCP, NTP, and other related Network Infrastructure technologies
- Expert knowledge of ISO and NIIST controls for Network Security and Automation.
- Experience with WLAN technologies and integration to the Network Infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of Layer2/3 switching/routing, OSI Model, Dynamic routing, Network Security, IPsec, VPN, IDP/IPS, Client VPN gateways and solutions (SSL, IPSEC)
- Familiar and have experiences on Netops and network automation framework, able to compose scripts or code to maintenance or delivery network services.
- Intimate knowledge of Industry Standard and Best Practices for networking solutions,
- Experience working within other service stakeholders defined framework on operational service stability, improvement and delivery.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, especially in high priority/outage situations.
- Comfortable multi-tasking without losing focus.
- Ability to balance project scoping and oversight of execution.
- Knowledge of AIOps platforms and practices.
- Strong project management skills with experience in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies. (Scrum master certification a plus!)
- Jira project and workforce management experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands on experience with various Juniper hardware families required. (EX,MX,SRX, Mist, etc..)
