Title: Fault Management Engineer ADTRAN Equipment

Location: Remote Role

Contract Length: 12 Months (W2 contract)

Summary:

• Seeking fault management engineer with ADTRAN equipment experience with focuses on networks and services like VoLTE (Voice over LTE), cloud networks, and IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem).
• Will be responsible for identifying, isolating, and correcting faults in a system specific to ADTRAN equipment to ensure it operates reliably. This will include network incident and problem management, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement corrective actions to meet performance and service level agreements (SLAs). The specific duties can vary by industry, but often involve monitoring systems, analyzing performance, and collaborating with other teams to resolve incidents.

Key responsibilities

Troubleshooting and resolution:

• Diagnosing and fixing complex technical problems in networks and systems, such as those related to telecommunications or spacecraft operations.

Incident management:

• Responding to and resolving network or system incidents as they occur to minimize service disruption.

Performance monitoring:

• Continuously monitoring system performance and implementing corrective actions to optimize it.

Fault detection:

• Identifying and analyzing faults by monitoring event data and generating alarms.

Technical skills:

• Strong knowledge of ADTRAN equipment, fault detection, isolation, and correction; deep understanding of specific system components (e.g., SIP signaling, network elements); familiarity with operating systems like Linux.
