RESPONSIBILITIES:
Senior User Technology Specialist (SUTS) - LAN Administration and Support. This role is full-time, 100% onsite in Phoenix, AZ (local candidates only). The interview format will be remote.
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior User Technology Specialist (SUTS) to join our team. This is a critical role responsible for supporting and enhancing our technology infrastructure. If you have a strong background in IT systems, networking, and user support, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as a backup to the LAN administrator or telecommunications engineer
* Diagnose and resolve issues related to LAN, WAN, servers, CAD systems, emergency response systems, and workstation hardware/software
* Evaluate and recommend solutions for departmental system needs, including PCs, LANs, WANs, and telecommunications infrastructure
* Assemble, integrate, and test complex computer systems and networks; Install and configure servers and related hardware
* Conduct post-implementation testing and system evaluations
* Assist in business systems analysis and stay informed on IT trends
* Provide technical training and serve as a project leader
* Supervise and direct vendor technicians
* Maintain an inventory of IT and telecommunications equipment, hardware, and software
* Deliver exceptional customer service and demonstrate a commitment to innovation and efficiency
* Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience in IT systems support and network administration
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Nust be local and available to work onsite full-time
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
