Field Design Engineers for a Global Consumer Device company in (Seattle, WA)

Responsibilities:

• You will test cellular technologies in the field, perform log analysis and debug issues.
• You will be driven to locations up to 30 minutes from the lab to test cellular technologies of nex-gen devices.
• You will work 4 days in the field, 1 day in the lab per work week.
• Transportation/Driver/Security will be provided.
• During peak season (June-October) you will hike in parks to test cellular technologies (Once every 2 months).
• You will communicate if there is a technical issue and have strong fundamental skills and judgement skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detailed oriented, analytical, able to work independently.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have 1-3years experience with end-to-end testing of cellular technologies that includes test plan preparation, field testing, log analysis & debugging issues
• Field testing experience with cellular, GPS, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth
• Must be able for walks in city limits and hike outdoors while perform field testing
• Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills. Must be detail-oriented
• If you only have lab experience and want to do field testing, this is an option.

Locations: (Seattle, WA) (100% onsite)

Duration: 6-12 months

Pay: $45-$55/hr DOE
