Job Description: SAP FICO Consultant
Position: SAP FICO Consultant
Location: Tennessee (Onsite / Hybrid)
Experience: 5 12 Years
Role Type: Implementation / Support / Enhancement (Customize as needed)
Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong functional expertise in financial accounting (FI) and controlling (CO) modules. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, configure SAP FICO modules, and support end-to-end financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Finance & Controlling processes.

Perform SAP FICO configuration, testing, and deployment across FI and CO modules.

Support key processes such as GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Product Costing.

Work on month-end/year-end closing activities and resolve issues related to financial postings.

Integrate FICO with MM, SD, PP, and other modules.

Perform user training, UAT support, and create functional documentation (FS, configuration documents).

Work with ABAP developers for enhancements, custom reports, and interfaces.

Troubleshoot system issues, provide L2/L3 functional support, and perform impact analysis for changes.

Support SAP S/4HANA Finance (if applicable): New GL, Universal Journal, Asset Accounting, Credit Management, and Fiori apps.

Required Skills

Strong functional expertise in SAP FI and CO modules.

Experience in GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, CO-CCA, CO-PCA, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Product Costing.

Good understanding of integration points with MM, SD, PP, etc.

Experience with S/4HANA Finance (optional but preferred).

Hands-on experience in configuring FICO settings and handling complex business scenarios.

Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Greenfield/Brownfield implementations.

Knowledge of Fiori Apps, SAP Activate methodology, and Solution Manager/ChaRM.

Basic knowledge of taxation, GST, and global finance processes.

Exposure to data migration, LSMW, BAPIs, and interfaces.

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

SAP FICO certification (preferred but not mandatory).
