Job Description
You will be the Industrial Engineering Aide for our World Class Electronic Manufacturing facility in Lufkin, TX. Our team is responsible for implementing and developing efficient manufacturing processes, and we're seeking a self-starting and team-oriented individual to support our tool control efforts.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Industrial Engineering Aide, you will be responsible for administering our tool management program and ensuring seamless tool distribution. Your responsibilities will include:
Administering tool management programs
Maintaining tool inventories and ensuring timely distribution
Visually inspecting tools for wear or defects and reports damaged or worn-out tooling to appropriate team members
Managing broken hand tool replacement
Assisting with lean 6S activities to include shadow boxes and area marking
Ensuring compliance with Surveillance/Monitoring and FOD/Tool Control Procedures

Basic Qualifications
Working knowledge of common and specialty tools used in electronic assembly
Working knowledge of inventory control and tool room procedures
Good computer skills and experience using Microsoft Word & Excel
Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
Ability to work Second Shift
Desired skills
Familiarity with cable/harness, circuit card, and electronic box assembly processing
FOD and Tool control plan management
Experience with SAP manufacturing execution system or equivalent
Excellent customer service skills, ability to interact well with others when issues arise

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
