About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT System Engineer to join a rapid growing trading firm. This role focuses on managing and optimizing endpoint devices across macOS environments while leveraging Microsoft Intune and PowerShell scripting for automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for innovation, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Endpoint Management:

    • Configure, deploy, and manage macOS devices using Microsoft Intune.

    • Develop and enforce compliance policies, security settings, and configuration profiles for macOS endpoints.

    • Manage device enrollment through Apple Business Manager (ABM) and ensure seamless integration with Intune.

  • Automation & Scripting:

    • Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting tasks.

  • Security & Compliance:

    • Implement endpoint security measures such as encryption, antivirus, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

    • Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities on managed devices to ensure compliance with organizational standards.

  • Troubleshooting & Support:

    • Provide advanced troubleshooting for endpoint-related issues in macOS environments.

    • Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve escalated tickets efficiently.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing macOS devices in an enterprise environment using Microsoft Intune.

  • Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with Apple Business Manager (ABM) and managing device enrollment programs (DEP).

  • Knowledge of endpoint security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., ISO/NIST).

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Jamf Pro or similar macOS management tools.

  • Understanding of Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and Azure AD integration.

  • Familiarity with Office 365 app management on macOS.

  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Jamf Certified Tech are a plus.
