With over 30 years of experience navigating multiple credit cycles, the firm specializes across a wide range of credit strategies, such as high-yield bonds, leveraged loans, structured products, distressed investments, and private credit in regions including North America, Europe, and beyond. Their approach stands out for its fundamental, value-driven philosophy, emphasizing downside protection and active management. Their advisors leverages an integrated, multi-strategy platform, enabling its teams to identify both relative and absolute value opportunities across asset classes and geographies.

They are looking for a seasoned Senior .NET Engineer to join their fast-paced development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable software solutions that power their financial analytics and operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in financial services and a strong background in backend development, cloud technologies, and database management.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong expertise in C#, .NET 6 or newer, and SQL
  • Experience deploying and supporting applications in Azure or AWS environments
  • Proven experience working in or with financial institutions or investment firms
  • Familiarity with modern software engineering practices (CI/CD, DevOps, Agile)
  • Experience working on financial platforms such as portfolio management systems, trading platforms, or risk analysis tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Experience with React or similar front-end frameworks is a plus
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance in financial environments
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown:
  • 20% maintaince
  • 80% new development

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using C# and .NET 6+
  • Build APIs and backend services that support financial operations and data analysis
  • Develop and optimize SQL-based queries and stored procedures for data processing
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Work within a microservices or distributed system architecture deployed to Azure or AWS
  • Ensure application scalability, reliability, and performance through best practices in code and architecture
  • Collaborate with front-end developers; React experience is a plus
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration efforts
