Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Middleware Cloud Service Engineer to join our Enterprise Integration Platform team. This is a hands-on engineering role responsible for software development, R&D, and operational support of middleware platforms primarily centered around WSO2 API Manager and WSO2 Micro Integrator within a cloud-first transformation initiative.
As a core member of the Cloud Transformation Organization, you will work alongside Architecture, Security, Engineering, and DevOps teams to design and operate a resilient, scalable, and automated integration platform supporting enterprise-grade performance, security, and disaster recovery across hybrid environments.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Middleware Cloud Service Engineer to join our Enterprise Integration Platform team. This is a hands-on engineering role responsible for software development, R&D, and operational support of middleware platforms primarily centered around WSO2 API Manager and WSO2 Micro Integrator within a cloud-first transformation initiative.
As a core member of the Cloud Transformation Organization, you will work alongside Architecture, Security, Engineering, and DevOps teams to design and operate a resilient, scalable, and automated integration platform supporting enterprise-grade performance, security, and disaster recovery across hybrid environments.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree (required); Master s degree (preferred)
- 8+ years of experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical enterprise platforms
- 3+ years of deep hands-on experience with WSO2 API Manager and related components
- Professional certification in WSO2 (preferred)
- Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
Technical Skills & Expertise:
WSO2 API Manager:
- Configuration and setup of Gateway, Control Plane, Key Manager, Traffic Manager
- API mocking, performance testing, and troubleshooting
- Deep understanding of WSO2 persistence architecture, data classification, and PostgreSQL data management
- Custom extension development and secure API exposure via OAuth2, JWT, and PingFederate
- Building and deploying integrations and orchestrations
- Production deployments and migration best practices
- Strong knowledge of OpenShift 4.x, Kubernetes 1.17+, AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, EFS), and Azure DevOps
- Experience with Spring Boot, Java, Docker, REST/SOAP APIs
- Familiar with Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines, Splunk, CRI-O (nice to have)
