About the Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst with experience in the home construction industry. You will work with our client, a top 100 home construction company in the US to play a critical role in evaluating and transforming the customer s business processes and IT landscape

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Process Analysis & Design

• Analyze current business processes like land acquisition, permitting, design, sales, customer selections, procurement, scheduling, field operations, and warranty.
• Find inefficiencies and areas for improvement, focusing on scalability and standardization.
• Design future-ready business processes that support growth, cost control, quality, and customer experience.
• Recommend best practices from leading homebuilders.

1. IT Landscape Evaluation

• Assess the current IT environment, including ERP, CRM, construction management, procurement systems, collaboration tools, and field mobility platforms.
• Identify gaps and misalignments with strategic business goals.
• Recommend a target-state IT architecture, including core platforms, integrations, cloud-readiness, analytics, and scalability needs.

1. Stakeholder Engagement

• Conduct workshops and interviews with senior business and IT stakeholders.
• Translate business goals into clear requirements and process/technology recommendations.
• Facilitate change management discussions to ensure stakeholder buy-in.

1. Documentation & Reporting

• Develop detailed process maps (As-Is and To-Be), business requirement documents, IT landscape reports, and transformation roadmaps.
• Present insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders in a concise, impactful format.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on the Home Construction industry.
• Experience with top 100 US homebuilders is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in business process re-engineering, especially in high-growth contexts.
• Familiarity with industry-leading systems like MiTek Kova, HomebuilderONE (HB1), MarkSystems, BuilderTREND, UDA Construction Online, Hyphen Solutions, Constellation Home Builder Systems, etc.
• Strong understanding of the homebuilder value chain from land acquisition to post-construction services.
• Experience in IT strategy or enterprise architecture assessments is a strong plus.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant certifications (CBAP, PMP, TOGAF) are a plus.
