Senior Bizagi Developer
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Bizagi Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of business process automation solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Bizagi Modeler, Bizagi Automation Server, and enterprise integration patterns to modernize citizen-facing services and internal workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and development of complex business process applications using Bizagi Automation Server and Bizagi Modeler
- Architect scalable BPM solutions that integrate with legacy state systems, databases, and external APIs
- Mentor junior developers on Bizagi best practices, BPMN 2.0 standards, and process optimization techniques
- Collaborate with business analysts and state agency stakeholders to translate requirements into automated workflows
- Develop and maintain reusable components, connectors, and templates to accelerate delivery
- Configure and customize Bizagi forms, business rules, and work allocation logic
- Design integration solutions using REST/SOAP web services, database connectors, and middleware platforms
- Perform code reviews, establish development standards, and ensure adherence to state IT security policies
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize process performance
- Support system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in BPM/workflow development with at least 4 years specifically on the Bizagi platform
- Strong proficiency in BPMN 2.0 notation and process modeling best practices
- Experience with Bizagi Automation Server administration, deployment, and configuration
- Hands-on expertise with C#, .NET, JavaScript, and SQL for Bizagi customizations
- Proven experience integrating BPM solutions with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, document management)
- Knowledge of state/federal compliance requirements (Section 508 accessibility, data privacy regulations)
- Experience working in government or public sector environments preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
Bizagi certification (Associate or Professional level)
Experience with Azure or AWS cloud deployments
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Previous state government project experience
