Job Summary: The Siemens Opcenter Execution Core Migration Specialist plays a critical role in implementing and upgrading Siemens Opcenter Execution Core solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in data migration, system integration, and configuration within a manufacturing execution system context, specifically focusing on Siemens Opcenter Execution Core capabilities. The specialist ensures seamless data transfer, system functionality, and industry standards and regulations compliance during migration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Migration Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive data migration strategies from legacy systems (MASSA) to Siemens Opcenter Execution Core.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Analyze and map data fields between source and target systems, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Conduct data cleansing and validation activities to ensure high-quality migrated data.
- Execute migration dry runs and assess results, collaborating with project teams to rectify inconsistencies.
System Installation & Upgrade:
Perform installations and upgrades of Siemens Opcenter Execution Core components and related modules. Ensure system configurations align with design specifications and project requirements.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams (network, database, hosting) to ensure application requirements are met.
Integration and Interface Configuration:
Configure and optimize interfaces between Opcenter Execution Core and other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP ERP, PLM systems, LIMS) using tools like Opcenter Connect MOM. Set up Level 2 integrations (e.g., OPC UA for machine connectivity) and Level 4 interfaces for higher-level system integration.
Opcenter Execution Core Configuration & Customization:
Configure Opcenter Execution Core modules, including but not limited to: Manufacturing execution (work order management, production tracking, genealogy, traceability). Quality management (inspection, non-conformance handling). Resource allocation and control (personnel, materials, equipment)
