SAP ABAP Developer (Applications Development Analyst Advanced)
Location: Onsite in Tallahassee, Florida
Contract Term:12+ months
Incumbent Position: Someone is already in this role; the state is likely reopening it for competition or extension.
?? Experience Requirements
Must Have:
- 10+ years ABAP programming experience in SAP ECC 6.0+
- Strong SAP module expertise: FI/CA, FI, MD, GL
- Object-oriented ABAP
- Complex SQL, interface/conversion programming
- Batch job scheduling & performance tuning
Nice to Have:
- SAP HANA upgrade experience
- BRF/BRF+
- Adobe Forms, Smartforms
- SAP Portal, Web Dynpro (ABAP/Java)
- REST Web Services
- Leading projects, writing tech specs, requirement gathering
?? Education Requirement
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
OR - Equivalent experience: 1 year of systems/data experience per missing year of education
?? Job Duties
- Perform ABAP development, enhancements, debugging
- Maintain FI/CA, SD, BW modules
- Collaborate with business analysts
- Mentor junior developers
- Submit OSS notes, research SAP KBAs
- Write/maintain tech specs and perform code reviews
