Role: Pega Architect

Location: Preferred is Jersey City, NJ/ Remote is fine as well

Note: PEGA Architect from Insurance background

We are looking for 15+years of experience as Pega architect . Need experience across several core IT areas, including Software Architecture Design, IT Architecture and Infrastructure, Cloud Computing and Development, Business Analysis, DevOps and Networking and IT Security

In a Pega senior architect role, responsible for

Design and build components of enterprise applications and provide consultative guidance on all project assignments for clients

Work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing assignments based on business needs

Identify opportunities to use Pega technologies for new business initiatives and improvement in existing business processes

Collaborate with other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions

Develop high-level architecture designs and implement them in Pega PRPC

Act as the technical liaison between the technical team and the business partners to ensure that the program is aligned with business needs and goals

Ensure software built is reliable, scalable, and optimal to meet the needs of the business

Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC)/Comply to Agile methodology

Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices

Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

Comply with project plans and industry standards

Create and maintain technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system

Identify and resolve any performance and/or system shortcomings

Technical Skills:

15+years of experience as Pega solution architect with additional knowledge of Life and Retirement insurance is a plus

Proven work experience as a Pega Certified Senior System Architect or similar role

Experience with Pega frameworks and Pega systems architecture

Design, develop, and implement IT solutions for apps, considering factors like scalability, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness.

Seek to gain an intricate understanding of the organization s enterprise environment. They evaluate processes and workflows to uncover inefficiencies and constraints and identify opportunities to improve

Aligning the technical strategy with the organization's broader goals and IT standards is crucial for a successful Solution Architecture that provides long-term value to the organization

Knowledge of and experience using project management software, and ability to recommend improvements

create intricate technical documentation that details the solution in full

Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring compliance with quality attributes such as scalability, performance, usability, and security.

Developing strong communication channels between architectural and development teams is essential to guarantee alignment with the architectural vision.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ability to understand impacts of simple to complex concepts

Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines

Ability to visualize and/or contribute to the presentation of an idea or project (from concept and design to presentation)

Ability to foster effective working relationships with peers within and across organizational lines
