Security Engineering Manager

7+ years in software/security engineering with 5+ years securing macOS and Chromebook endpoints.

Management experience should be about 3-5 years and can still do hands-on keyboard work.

Company Size Matters: Only target candidates from companies with 1000+ employees. No startups seed-stage or Series A companies. They need experience with similar scale and complexity challenges.
At least 7 years of experience in software engineering and security engineering.

• At least 5 years of experience securing macOS and Chromebook endpoints and common SaaS applications in a large corporate environment.
• At least 5 years of engineering management experience.
• You possess a strong understanding of what constitutes high-quality code and effective software engineering processes, creating an environment that fosters these principles.
• An execution-focused mindset, capable of navigating through ambiguity and delivering results.
• An ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with short-term planning.
• You can be hands-on when needed whether that s writing/reviewing code or technical documents, participating in on-call rotations and leading incidents, or triaging/troubleshooting bugs.
• Your passion for building an open financial system that brings the world together drives you to excel in this role.

Nice to haves:

• You have designed, built, scaled and maintained production services and integrations for security risk reduction.
• You have secured mobile endpoints (iOS, Android) and endpoint communication using device trust and zero trust network access products (like Cloudflare or Zscaler).
• You have worked with Golang, Docker, and AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
