Digital Image Technician - Dealer Training and Productivity

The Global Dealer Training & Productivity team helps dealers work smarter, not harder, with targeted training, data, strategy and more. Together, our team:

What you'll do...

The Digital Imaging Technician (DIT) will be responsible for providing essential support to the camera department during and after production shoots for Ford Model e training. The DIT will collaborate closely with Camera Leads, playing a crucial role in tasks such as data transfer and logging, aiding in camera department preparation, and addressing camera constraints during production for both in-house and on-location Model e videos. In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will actively participate in creative meetings and post-production reviews, contributing valuable insights to enhance the overall video production process. They will also act as an available colorist to support the post-production team when help is needed.

A proficient Digital Imaging Technician (DIT) embodies a blend of technical knowledge, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. With a strong understanding of digital imaging technology and post-production workflows, the DIT ensures the accuracy and integrity of digital data during production for both in-house and on-location Model-E videos. This role demands problem-solving abilities, adaptability to new technologies, and a collaborative spirit to work seamlessly with the camera department and post-production teams in Model-E. Organizational skills are crucial for efficiently managing large volumes of data, while time management is essential to meet tight production schedules.
  • Ingest, transfer, verify, log, and organize footage from camera to storage devices.
  • Technical support for the camera department.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to digital imaging systems.
  • Assist in operating teleprompter.
  • Assist camera team as a utility; slating, battery management, lighting support.
  • Acting as a liaison between camera department and post-production.
  • Supporting Post Production with input on color, exports, and file management.


You'll have...
  • High School Diploma
  • 4+ years experience working with fast paced post-production
  • 2+ years experience in entertainment/marketing/advertising on-set as a DIT/Digitech
  • Must have a current 60 second reel of your work that demonstrates your understanding of production; colorist, camera operator, editor


Even better, you may have...
  • 5+ years of professional experience managing data as a DIT or Colorist, on set or in house
  • The ability to think creatively and offer input, with meticulous critical problem solving
  • Credits or reel displaying the caliber of high quality, accomplished work we intend to create
  • Proficient in Adobe CC (including Premiere, After Effects, Audition), Davinci Resolve, MS Office (including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint)
