Job Details

Purpose:

Support the evaluation of business needs and assist in the development and improvement of software systems and integration solutions. Working under the guidance of senior analysts and project leaders, you will help gather and document requirements, participate in testing and training activities, and contribute to the successful implementation of technology solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

Assists in systems requirements, definition, testing, training, implementation, and support.

Assists with client requirements through interviews, workshops, and/or existing system documentation or procedures.

Uses industry standard analysis techniques to uncover client requirements such as data flow modeling, use-case analysis, workflow analysis, functional decomposition analysis, data modeling, and object modeling.

Documents the results of analysis activities using the appropriate templates or analysis tools

Identifies customer requirements, develops test schedules, reviews testing plans, and tracks and documents development results.

Creates, modifies, maintains, and schedules procedures and reports using various report-writing tools.

Help prepare training materials and support end-user training sessions.

Learn and apply standard analysis techniques such as data flow diagrams and basic object modeling.

Job Requirements:

Education/ Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

1-3 years of general business analysis experience preferred

Experience with electronic shelf labels or some graphic abilities.

Technical abilities using software application. (Vusion preferred)

Ability to use common reporting and database technologies: Excel, SQL Server, Teradata, PowerBI, and Oracle.

Experience with data extraction, visualization, analysis/interpretation

Grocery/Operations experience preferred

Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Work Environment:

Remote Role:

This position is classified as remote where the associate will perform remote work from their primary residence. Remote associates are welcome to work from the office but are not required to do so. While remote associates are not required to work from an office on a regular basis, they may be required to come to the office or other UNFI locations for necessary business reasons or if directed to do so by their manager.

Physical Environment/Demands:

Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.

Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephones, and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday.

Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in the completion of job duties.
