Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned AWS Solution Architect with strong expertise in .NET development and DevOps practices to join our team for a long-term, remote opportunity with a direct client in the airlines industry. This role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on technologist to architect scalable cloud-native solutions, modernize legacy systems, and drive technical innovation across enterprise-level applications.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 10 14 years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years as a Solution Architect.

  • Proven expertise in AWS cloud architecture, services, and cost optimization strategies.

  • Hands-on experience with .NET / .NET Core development in large-scale, enterprise applications.

  • Strong proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

  • Experience with modernizing legacy applications and cloud migrations.

  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and security best practices on AWS.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Airlines industry experience is highly preferred and will be considered a strong advantage.

Preferred Certifications:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Associate

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure or .NET related certifications

  • DevOps-related certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, Docker/Kubernetes)
