Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Domain Support Engineer with a focus on the Healthcare or Eyecare domain, who will be responsible for managing domain-related infrastructure and services using Azure Cloud Platform. The role involves handling domain lifecycle activities, ensuring proper configuration and security of DNS, email records, and domain acquisitions and transfers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of domain and DNS management, combined with experience working in healthcare or eyecare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Domain Portfolio Management:

Maintain and oversee the organization s portfolio of domain names.

Ensure domains are renewed on time and monitored for unauthorized changes.

Keep detailed documentation of domain ownership, registrar details, and renewal schedules.

Domain Acquisition:

Research, identify, and acquire relevant domains for business needs.

Collaborate with legal and marketing teams to ensure compliance and brand alignment.

Domain Transfer:

Manage the transfer of domains between registrars and/or business units.

Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders to ensure secure and smooth transitions.

DNS Management:

Create, modify, and troubleshoot DNS records (A, CNAME, MX, TXT, etc.) on Azure DNS or other DNS providers.

Monitor DNS propagation and perform regular audits for accuracy and performance.

Email Authentication and Security Configuration:

Configure and maintain MX, TXT, SPF, and DKIM records to support secure and reliable email communication.

Collaborate with IT security to implement DMARC policies and monitor compliance.

Subdomain Creation and Configuration:

Set up and manage subdomains for different services or departments.

Ensure proper DNS routing and SSL certification where applicable.

Azure Cloud Integration:

Utilize Azure DNS, Azure Resource Manager, and related services to manage domain-related infrastructure.

Leverage Azure automation tools and monitoring services to streamline operations.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in managing domain registrations, DNS configurations, and email records.

Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services, particularly Azure DNS and Azure Resource Manager.

Understanding of email security standards: SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.

Experience with domain registrars (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Network Solutions, etc.).

Industry Knowledge:

Familiarity with compliance and data privacy standards in the healthcare or eyecare domain (e.g., HIPAA).

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Strong attention to detail and documentation practices.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

7+ years of experience in domain/DNS management, preferably within a healthcare or eyecare environment.

Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-900) are a plus.

Nice to Have:

Experience with SSL/TLS certificates and HTTPS configuration.

Familiarity with DevOps tools and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
