Job Description:

Oracle Database Architect/Consultant

  1. Act as a senior Oracle consultant to analyze and assess environments across versions 8i/9i/10g/11g to 19c.
  2. Lead large-scale estate assessment (~7,000 servers) for modernization and upgrade roadmaps.
  3. Design pre-migration strategy, risk identification, and remediation recommendations.
  4. Evaluate compatibility, capacity, performance, and security readiness for Oracle 19c transition.
  5. Develop architecture documentation, migration blueprint, and future-state design.
  6. Utilize RMAN, Data Guard, and GoldenGate for replication, backup, and recovery strategy planning.
  7. Build and run automation/remote assessment scripts for scale and efficiency.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders on planning and execution milestone timelines.
  9. Present findings, create assessment reports, and guide decision-making at leadership level.
