Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics and SQL to support data engineering initiatives on Microsoft-based projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and analytical solutions within the Azure ecosystem.

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics and SQL to support data engineering initiatives on Microsoft-based projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and analytical solutions within the Azure ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views
- Integrate data from multiple sources using Azure data services
- Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and query optimization
- Collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, and stakeholders to support reporting and analytics needs
- Implement best practices for data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production environments
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as a Data Engineer
- Hands-on expertise with Azure Synapse Analytics
- Advanced SQL skills (query optimization, performance tuning)
- Experience working on Microsoft projects / Microsoft client environments (mandatory)
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT frameworks
- Experience with Azure data services (ADF, ADLS, Azure SQL, etc.)
- Ability to work independently in a remote C2C engagement
Nice to Have
- Experience with Power BI or other Microsoft BI tools
- Exposure to big data technologies within Azure
- Prior experience in enterprise-scale data platforms
