Lead Infrastructure Engineer
Hybrid 2/3 days per week onsite

Job Description: As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer, you will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's IT infrastructure while providing leadership and guidance to a team of infrastructure engineers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our IT systems to support business operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and support to drive professional growth and development.
  • Manage and administer Office 365 email systems, including Exchange Online, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the organization.
  • Provide desktop support services, including provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting of end-user devices such as laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
  • Oversee printer systems, including networked printers, to ensure efficient printing services and device management.
  • Maintain and optimize server infrastructure, both physical and virtual, to support business-critical applications and services.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions, to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Administer storage systems, such as network-attached storage (NAS) and storage area networks (SAN), to ensure data availability, integrity, and performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to design, implement, and support IT infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the organization's IT infrastructure against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles to facilitate efficient operations and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on email (Office 365), desktop, printer, server, cloud, and storage systems.
  • Strong expertise in administering Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering technology solutions at an enterprise level.
  • Proficiency in managing Windows and/or Linux server environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy management.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
  • Knowledge of storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and RAID configurations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
  • Relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, CompTIA Cloud+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent are a plus.
