Job Title: SAP Functional Consultant

Location:(Remote)
Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with deep functional expertise across multiple SAP modules including FI/CO, MM, SD, and WMS. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, support UAT, lead functional discussions, and contribute to change management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed SAP functional specifications.
  • Provide strong functional expertise in SAP FI/CO modules, covering:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Asset Accounting
    • Cost Center Accounting
  • Apply general working knowledge in other SAP modules including:
    • MM (Materials Management / Procurement & Inventory)
    • SD (Sales and Distribution)
    • WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration across SAP modules.
  • Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
    • Develop test scenarios
    • Coordinate test activities
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Assist in Change Management activities including:
    • End-user training
    • Documentation preparation
    • Communication planning
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend SAP best practices.
  • Provide post-implementation support and resolve any functional issues.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate system configuration and development.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SAP releases, enhancements, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 9+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant.
  • Hands-on experience in at least three of the following modules: FI/CO, MM, SD, WMS.
  • Experience supporting UAT and Change Management processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
