Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Specialist with a strong background in test data management and experience in the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through rigorous testing methodologies. This role requires a detail oriented individual who can work collaboratively within a team to deliver high quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.

Manage test data effectively to ensure accurate and reliable testing outcomes.

Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on software applications.

Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.

Collaborate with cross functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to understand requirements and provide feedback on software functionality.

Participate in test strategy discussions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Provide status reports and updates to project stakeholders regarding testing progress and results.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.

Mandatory Skills:

Proven experience in software testing with a focus on test data management.

Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools.

Experience in the telecommunications sector, with knowledge of telecom applications and systems.

Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Knowledge of SQL and database testing.

Experience in performance testing tools.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5 7 years of experience in software testing, specifically in the telecom industry.

Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
