Position Title: Technical Customer Support Specialist
Location: 100% Remote (Preferred time zones: Central and Eastern Time)
Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT (flexible within 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT)


Job Summary


This role requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge of technical customer service theories and principles, along with general understanding of business and industry practices. The ideal candidate will work independently with minimal guidance, perform a full range of professional duties, and solve complex technical issues using advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. This includes contributing to post-live technical support, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system maintenance. You will coordinate with internal departments to implement and support application features and ensure high availability of services.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Provide expert-level technical support and assistance to customers and consultants

  • Solve complex technical problems by analyzing multiple data sources and exercising sound judgment

  • Identify, test, and document software defects using tracking systems for development team resolution

  • Collaborate with internal teams (escalation, development, functional) to resolve issues and communicate sensitive or complex information effectively

  • Support and implement advanced features and integrations of the Health, Pharmacy & Health Technology application suites

  • Troubleshoot application, interface, and data-related issues; make necessary site configuration changes

  • Write and modify SQL queries for data analysis and application troubleshooting

  • Adapt policies and programs and develop models to support small projects or internal team initiatives


Education & Experience



  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience

  • Experience:


    • 5+ years in a B2B technical customer service or implementation role

    • Strong background in SQL - must be able to write and modify queries independently

    • Experience with cloud computing platforms: Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS

    • Knowledge of database technologies: Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle
