We are looking for a Power BI Developer for our client in Cary, NC
Job Title: Power BI Developer
Job Location: Cary, NC Job Type: Contract Job Description:
- 6-9 years of experience with Business Intelligence tools (Preferably on Power BI).
- Having a good learning attitude and willingness to troubleshoot and navigate different technical challenges and issues faced by Power BI users.
- Good understanding of Power BI Administrative functions including Licenses, capacity, Gateway and Power BI service.
- Good understanding of data analysis and visualization principles and proficiency in Power BI.
- Experience in Power BI to create reports and dashboards, perform data exploration and manage semantic models.
- Power BI data modeling concepts and be able to create effective and optimized data models
- Proficiency of SQL and DAX for creating custom calculations in Power BI.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Proficient in Power Query to implement ETL process in Power BI.
- Good understanding of Fabric and how Power BI fits into that ecosystem.
- Experience in Performance tuning techniques from report/data model level.
- Experience working in Analytics projects with strong analytical skills and clear understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Must be organized, detail oriented and be able to present analysis and recommendations in a clear, concise manner.
