Job Details
Skills and Responsibilities:
1. Core IAM Knowledge and Expertise:
- IAM Principles:Understanding of authentication, authorization, access control, and identity lifecycle management principles.
- Okta Expertise:Proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Okta's features, including identity stores, authentication/authorization methods, and user provisioning/de-provisioning.
- Authentication Protocols:Experience with various protocols like SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.
- Security Policies:Ability to develop and enforce IAM policies to ensure secure access and compliance.
- Cloud IAM:Familiarity with cloud IAM concepts and integration with platforms like Azure, AWS.
2. Technical Skills:
- Scripting/Automation:Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) for automating tasks, managing users, and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshooting:Ability to diagnose and resolve issues within Okta and related IAM systems.
- Configuration Management:Experience with configuration management tools (Terraform) for automating infrastructure deployment and management.
- Networking:Basic understanding of networking concepts relevant to IAM solutions.
3. Responsibilities:
- Designing and Implementing IAM Solutions: Working with business stakeholders to define requirements and design IAM solutions using Okta.
- User Management: Managing user identities, groups, and access permissions within Okta.
- Okta Configuration: Configuring and managing Okta's features, including authentication methods, SSO, MFA, and integration with third-party applications.
- Integration: Integrating Okta with other systems, including Active Directory, LDAP, and SaaS applications.
- Monitoring and Auditing: Monitoring IAM systems, performing audits, and ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Technical Support: Providing technical support and assistance to users and other teams regarding IAM solutions.
- Staying Current: Keeping up with the latest IAM technologies and best practices.
4. Other Important Qualities:
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and find effective solutions.
