Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Data Architect / Lead Data Engineer to design and implement enterprise-grade data solutions across on-premise and cloud (preferably AWS) environments. This role demands deep expertise in data architecture, data engineering, and modern analytics platforms, with a focus on scalability, performance, and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of data solutions including Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, and advanced analytics platforms.

  • Define and implement enterprise data strategy across on-prem and cloud ecosystems (preferably AWS).

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems using tools such as Talend, SAP BODS, Python, PySpark, and Kafka.

  • Lead Data Modeling, Master Data Management (MDM), Reference Data Management (RDM), and Metadata Management initiatives.

  • Implement and maintain Data Lineage, Data Governance, and Compliance frameworks.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decision-making.

  • Architect hybrid data solutions supporting both batch and real-time processing needs.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine data strategy, standards, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, and related disciplines.

  • Proven experience implementing large-scale data solutions across on-premises and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

  • Expertise in building and optimizing data lakes and analytical environments.

  • Strong command of SQL and NoSQL databases.

  • Proficient with modern data integration and ETL tools such as Talend, SAP BODS, Kafka, Python, PySpark, and RESTful APIs.

  • Deep understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage.

Preferred Skills:

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Solutions Architect).

  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD for data platforms.

  • Knowledge of modern BI/analytics tools and platforms.
