Role: Lead-Level SNOW Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC or Chandler, AZ or Irving, TX (3x a week onsite)

2-year contract

Must Have: CSA and CAD (or be able to obtain the CAD in 1-2 months after offer)

  1. Job Description:

This team is looking for a highly experienced and certified Lead ServiceNow Developer to architect, lead, and evolve our enterprise ServiceNow platform. This role requires deep technical expertise in ServiceNow development, CMDB/CSDM strategy, and advanced platform capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with cutting-edge ServiceNow features and a proven ability to lead technical teams and strategic initiatives.

  1. Day to Day:
    1. Lead the design and development of complex ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications and integrations
    2. Implement Discovery Patterns to enhance CMDB accuracy and automation
    3. Deploy and manage IntegrationHub spokes and Service Graph Connectors to support enterprise integrations
    4. Drive CMDB and CSDM alignment across business units, ensuring data quality and model compliance
    5. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support SACM and SPM initiatives
    6. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers
    7. Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure platform scalability
    8. Troubleshoot and resolve high-impact platform issues and performance bottlenecks
    9. Participate in strategic planning sessions to align ServiceNow capabilities with business goals
    10. Stay current with ServiceNow releases and recommend adoption of new features and best practices

  1. Top Requirements:
    1. 6+ years of ServiceNow development experience, including:
      1. Scoped Applications, Flow Designer, and Glide scripting
      2. REST/SOAP APIs and external system integrations
      3. Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts
      4. Service Catalog and Request Management
      5. CMDB and Discovery
    2. Advanced ServiceNow platform capabilities:
      1. Designing and building custom Discovery Patterns
      2. Implementing IntegrationHub and Flow Designer integrations
      3. Deploying and configuring Service Graph Connectors
      4. Working with newer ServiceNow technologies that are not yet widely adopted in the industry
    3. CMDB and CSDM expertise:
      1. Leading CMDB maturity initiatives and governance
      2. Implementing and aligning with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
      3. Integrating CMDB with SACM and SPM modules
    4. Required Certifications:
      1. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
      2. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  1. Nice to Haves:
    1. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
    2. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
    3. Familiarity with BAM and enterprise asset management strategies
