Job Details

Job Title: Junior AWS Cloud Engineer
Location: Dallas, Texas (Onsite)
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract

 

Job Summary:

We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior AWS Cloud Engineer to join our cloud operations team. You'll assist in supporting AWS infrastructure, resolving basic technical issues, and gaining hands-on experience in cloud environments while collaborating with senior engineers to learn and grow your skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in configuring and maintaining AWS services like EC2, S3, IAM, and RDS
  • Support incident response and troubleshooting for infrastructure or application-level issues
  • Help monitor cloud environments using CloudWatch and basic logging tools
  • Perform routine operational tasks like backups, patching, and system checks
  • Contribute to updating technical documentation and internal knowledge bases
  • Work under the guidance of senior engineers to build automation scripts and improve system reliability
  • Participate in training sessions and project discussions to expand cloud knowledge


Qualifications:

  • Foundational understanding of AWS services and cloud computing principles
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and basic system administration
  • Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Strong curiosity and willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
