Supplier Quality Engineer

📍 Albany, NY (Onsite)

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support APQP/PPAP activities, drive supplier qualification, and ensure quality compliance for new components within the medical/aerospace/automotive domain.

Responsibilities

  • Lead APQP/PPAP processes and part qualification.

  • Review FAI packages, approve shipments, and validate supplier documentation.

  • Manage PSW approvals and maintain deliverables in Windchill.

  • Conduct process validation (SRPQP) and compile data packages.

  • Monitor supplier KPIs, PPM, audits, and corrective actions (CAPA).

  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to ensure supplier readiness.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

  • 4–8 years in Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Quality.

  • Strong experience with APQP, PPAP, FAI, PSW, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, Six Sigma.

  • Background in medical, aerospace, or automotive industries.

  • Experience with ERP systems, QMS, and Windchill (PLM) preferred.
