Job Description
SNI Technology's top client located in Thornton, CO is immediately seeking to hire two (2) talented Network Technicians for an exciting full-time, 6-month contract position. Please note this position is a fully onsite work environment. Remote work is not available for this position. This field position requires reliable transportation and will include local travel up to 75% of the time.
NETWORK TECHNICIAN CONTRACTOR
SNI Technology's client is looking to hire two (2) contract Network Technicians to join their IT Department's low-voltage cabling team for a 6-month contract assignment
This position will be part of the District's low-voltage cabling team
Primary responsibilities will include pulling new network cables, troubleshooting/repairing existing network cables, and terminating and testing network cables for various network systems and components around the district
These systems include but are not limited to the following: intercom speakers, security cameras, wireless access points, UPS systems, and VoIP infrastructure
This position may also assist with pulling, terminating, and testing fiber.
Description of the ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have general experience and knowledge of network cabling, wireless, VoIP, and network infrastructure
The candidate will also be experienced working in Data centers, MDF/IDFs, and field sites installing, configuring, troubleshooting / testing, and replacing devices.
COMPENSATION RANGE
The compensation for this position is in the range of $20 to $25 per hour during the 6-month contract duration of the assignment
