Job Description:
Summary:
We are seeking an intermediate-level Salesforce Implementation Specialist to support the migration from a legacy platform to Salesforce. This person will act as the technical liaison between the client and the external Salesforce implementation vendor, ensuring the solution is deployed correctly and aligned with the client s roadmap. The role blends technical Salesforce knowledge, light project management, vendor coordination, and an understanding of the sales cycle and contract workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the full migration from the existing system to Salesforce Sales Cloud, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business requirements
- Work closely with the Salesforce implementation vendor to validate configurations, customizations, data mappings and QA
- Serve as the technical point of contact between the client and vendor, making sure the implementation follows best practices and meets the client's long-term roadmap
- Assist with the UAT, deployment and rollout of Salesforce across teams and business units
- Provide light project management support timelines, coordination, documentation, status tracking, and stakeholder communication
- Help develop and refine Salesforce roadmaps, enhancements, and integration planning
- Apply working knowledge of Salesforce administration and development (objects, permissions, flows, automation, Apex familiarity) to guide decisions
- Support system integrations between Salesforce and existing internal systems
- Learn and understand the client s full sales cycle and how Salesforce supports lead-to-close processes
- Work with contract workflows managed inside Salesforce and DocuSign, ensuring proper routing, signing, and storage
- Troubleshoot issues, escalate concerns, and assist with user adoption and training
- Collaborate with internal business stakeholders to document requirements and translate them into actionable requests for the vendor and internal teams
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud in a technical, functional, or implementation-focused role
- Hands-on understanding of Salesforce administration, configuration, and automation
- Experience supporting or participating in system migrations and platform upgrades
- Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work across vendors and internal stakeholders
- Familiarity with system integrations and basic API concepts
- Understanding of sales processes and contract workflows, or willingness to learn quickly
- Ability to work onsite in a hybrid capacity as needed
Nice to Have:
- Experience with DocuSign workflows, templates, and Salesforce integrations
- Experience with Salesforce marketing
- Background in Salesforce development concepts (Apex, custom objects, triggers)
- Prior experience supporting vendors or acting as a liaison between technical and business teams
- Tableau experience
- Cloud experience AWS/Azure
- Exposure to project management tools and methodologies
