Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Mainframe Architect in Albany, NY.
Description:
The Software Architect will be required to analyze, design and development COBOL programs for Data Quality issues. Based on a set of business requirements the Software Architect will be required to define data requirements and write application specifications and design for data transformation. Programs will be written in Cobol based on the requirements for a COTS vendor solution.
Unit testing is required as well as writing test plans for the implementation of remediations for data quality issues. When testing is completed, the Software Architect will be required to migrate the programs to the production environment and perform post production validation of the implementation.
Mandatory Qualification:
? Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
? Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
? 84 months experience of COBOL/JCL with version z/OS 4.2.0/v3.2
? 84 months experience of VSAM file structures
? 84 months experience of DB2/SQL
? 84 months experience of Endevor
? 60 months experience of Data Analysis & Design, Data Quality issues/Remediation
? 84 months experience of CA InterTest
? 72 months experience of Lead programmer experience.
