RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Senior C#/Webex Contact Center (WXCC) Developer.
Overview:
Our client is modernizing key components of their telephony infrastructure and preparing an internally built web application for integration with cloud-based Cisco Webex Contact Center services. The application-originally built in C# on the .NET Framework and running on Windows Server with a SQL Server backend-is 8+ years old with limited documentation.
The candidate will play a critical role in refactoring the application so it can properly consume new data structures and interfaces associated with the client's Webex Contact Center cloud migration. You will partner closely with the SQL reporting team and the internal application owner to bring the application up to modern standards and ensure cloud readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze the existing legacy C#/.NET Framework web application and identify required refactoring to support new data from Webex Contact Center cloud services
* Work with the app owner to understand historical logic, data flows, and business rules (in a low-documentation environment)
* Update, clean up, or re-architect components of the application as needed for compatibility with incoming cloud-based data
* Collaborate with the SQL reporting team to ensure the application consumes and displays data correctly during and after the cloud transition
* Support integration with Webex Contact Center (WXCC), including the Analyzer reporting module
* Provide technical recommendations for stability, performance, and maintainability as the application transitions away from on-prem reliance
* Serve as the subject matter expert for the application throughout the migration window
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-7+ years of professional experience in C# and .NET Framework development (experience working with legacy or minimally documented applications strongly preferred)
* Hands-on experience with Cisco Webex Contact Center (WXCC), ideally including Analyzer or other reporting modules
* Strong understanding of web application architecture running on Windows Server
* Familiarity with SQL Server data structures and consumption (SQL reporting team handles migration, but experience is beneficial)
* Ability to quickly ramp up on older codebases, trace dependencies, and document findings or fixes
Preferred Skills:
* Experience supporting applications during cloud telephony or contact center migrations preferred
* Experience modernizing or preparing legacy .NET applications for cloud telephony integrations
* Background in telecom, contact center, or call routing systems
* Ability to operate independently and make recommendations confidently
