- BA/BS in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related area of study from an accredited college or university with applicable project management experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing projects.
- Excellent listening, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability or Proven IT delivery background with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in all program/project phases - plan, initiate, elaborate, design, build, test, and implement.
- Strong attention to detail in managing projects with a very large number of moving pieces
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to multitask and handle interruptions.
- Get involved in complex issues to drive problem solving, and rapidly get to solutions.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to "manage upward"
- Able to think and exercise good judgment and decision making.
- Must pay attention to details.
- PMP or Project Management certification is a plus.
- Financial Services background is a plus.
- Project Manager will assist in managing, scope, schedule, and budget for projects within the Technology division, specifically the Technology Integration & Resilience (TIR) team.
- This role will focus particularly on technology integration initiatives.
- The Project Manager will work with appropriate technology integration teams to ensure effective project planning, risk and issue mitigation, constraint analysis, and seamless communications over the life of the assigned projects.
- This role is highly cross-functional and will require a strategic thinker comfortable with ensuring cross-departmental alignment.
- The position will report to the ED, TIR, but will be closely partnered with key stakeholders across the business and various technology teams, other project/program managers within the PMO and TIR team, as well as multiple stakeholders across Parametric business organizations.
- Drive effective teamwork, prioritization, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities while maintaining strong business relationships.
- Lead the effective and efficient delivery of large complex cross-functional projects and manage implementation activities for concurrent work-streams.
- Ability to create and communicate project metrics, schedule, and status to the entire organization.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, identify risk, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
- Maximize resources for the greater good of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical information.
- Demonstrated ability to compose clear and concise written communication.
- Demonstrated ability to create appropriate business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure consistency with and application of project management standards, processes, and controls across projects.
