Position Overview:

The Desktop Support Technician is responsible for providing deskside and remote technical support for end-user hardware and software. This role includes imaging, deployment, and migration of devices, as well as troubleshooting issues related to Microsoft applications and enterprise tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PC hardware, deployment technologies, and Microsoft 365 applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide deskside support for PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals, and basic networking hardware.
  • Perform device imaging and deployment using tools such as PXE Boot, SCCM, or Microsoft Autopilot.
  • Execute hardware refresh and migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to end users.
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications including Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive, as well as device management through Intune.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly, escalating complex problems as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of deployments, configurations, and support activities.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with organizational standards and security policies.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in IT support or desktop support roles.
  • Familiarity with deployment and imaging tools (PXE Boot, SCCM, Microsoft Autopilot).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite and related administration tools.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

This is a Contract position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
