Infrastructure Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager in Houston, TX.

Summary:
This role involves managing tasks within larger projects, potentially at the program level, as well as overseeing smaller ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of infrastructure projects, including wireless, network upgrades, modernization, firewall, and data center replacements.

Duties:
* Project Management: Lead and manage medium-sized projects across various infrastructure streams, including cloud, end user compute, storage, and office 365 migrations
* Technical Guidance: Collaborate with engineers, providing guidance and ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines; Act as a checks and balance to maintain project integrity
* Reporting and Risk Management: Prepare typical project reports, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
* Communication: Engage in intelligent conversations with stakeholders, demonstrating a clear understanding of project requirements and technical aspects
* M&A Support: Assist Senior Project Managers in managing networking and end user compute components during mergers and acquisitions

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience: Proven track record in managing infrastructure projects, particularly in the end user compute space
* Technical Acumen: Ability to understand technical conversations and guide engineering teams effectively
* Project Management Skills: Strong skills in driving projects to completion, managing timelines, and ensuring project success
* Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication
* Experience using tools including: SmartSheet and Excel

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
