About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager with over 10 years of experience managing SaaS ecommerce projects, with mandatory expertise in Zuora AND additional subscription billing platforms. The ideal candidate will have led multiple large-scale implementation and enhancement projects around Zuora, subscription management, or related billing platforms. This role demands strong technical acumen, deep domain knowledge, and the ability to manage complex project workflows effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of SaaS ecommerce and subscription billing projects, with a primary focus on Zuora implementations and enhancements.
- Drive technical project management activities, including planning, execution, risk management, and delivery assurance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, business, and operations) to ensure alignment of project objectives with business goals.
- Manage stakeholder communication, ensuring timely status updates, issue resolution, and escalation handling.
- Oversee workflows and integrations related to Order-to-Cash processes.
- Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure seamless project execution and handovers.
- Ensure technical flows, dependencies, and integration points across SaaS platforms are well documented and understood by the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of technical project management experience in SaaS ecommerce projects.
- Mandatory experience with Zuora (subscription billing) including implementation, rollout, or major enhancements.
- Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash processes and associated workflows.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale SaaS projects across diverse domains.
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand system flows, integrations, and dependencies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience managing projects involving Salesforce and NetSuite applications (preferred but not mandatory).
- Familiarity with financial systems and SaaS billing models.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
Work Environment
- Fully remote role.
- Required to work EST working hours, ensuring coverage during early PST mornings and extended overlap with offshore teams.
