Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and oversee critical technology initiatives within our organization. Based in McAllen, Texas, this role requires a dynamic individual capable of managing complex projects, coordinating diverse teams, and ensuring deliverables are met within defined timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of technology solutions in the financial services sector.

Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and finalize IT projects while adhering to tight deadlines and budget constraints.
Coordinate and manage team members and third-party consultants to ensure project goals are achieved.
Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and management.
Communicate project plans, updates, and expectations clearly and effectively to all involved parties.
Create and maintain detailed project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools.
Monitor project progress, analyze results, and resolve any issues that arise during execution.
Establish success criteria for projects and ensure they are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
Develop contingency plans to address potential risks or changes in project scope.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, internal policies, and audit controls.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum of five years of experience in IT project management, including two years in a leadership role.
Banking industry experience is required.
Project Management certification (PMP) is preferred.
Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and knowledge of Microsoft OS and Office Suite.
Familiarity with Jack Henry & Associates core software, Visio, and other relevant technologies.
Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and cloud technologies.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with diverse teams and senior management.
