Description
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in Irvine, California. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing data warehouses, pipelines, and integration platforms to support business intelligence initiatives. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain data warehouses and data lakes using Snowflake and Microsoft SQL Server.
Build and manage data pipelines and ETL processes utilizing tools such as Azure Data Factory, Snowpipe, and Boomi.
Optimize database performance, ensuring data governance, security, and integrity across all systems.
Collaborate with business intelligence and analytics teams to deliver data-driven insights and solutions.
Configure and maintain data integration platforms and reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Power Automate.
Perform routine database operations, including backups, restores, and performance monitoring.
Implement and enforce data security measures in compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Utilize scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell to automate data workflows and processes.
Provide technical support and guidance for organizational data development projects.
Requirements
A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Developer or Administrator with expertise in relational and object-oriented database development.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with Snowflake data warehouses and data lake environments.
Strong proficiency in ETL tools and pipeline development using Azure Data Factory, Boomi, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Advanced knowledge of scripting languages, including Python, PowerShell, or R.
Experience with data integration and analytics platforms such as Databricks, Redshift, or Boomi is preferred.
Strong understanding of database security, compliance, and governance protocols.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, delivering high-quality data solutions.
