Job Title: Module Lead Mainframe QA TesterDesignation: Delivery Module LeadLocation: Mph- Client Site, Texas, USJob Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Module Lead QA Tester to support a critical project for one of our largest clients in the Capital Markets domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology and a proven track record in developing and managing cutting-edge technology applications. This role requires a proactive leader who can ensure the successful delivery of quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement automation test plans to enhance testing efficiency.
- Conduct automation demonstrations and walkthroughs for client teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless QA delivery during the entire testing lifecycle.
- Supervise data and environment coordination to support testing activities.
- Lead automation meetings, providing accurate and timely status updates to the project team.
- Coordinate schedules for builds and fixes, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
- Resolve technical issues and explore alternative designs to enhance project outcomes.
- Participate as a team member, fostering teamwork and inter-group coordination within project modules.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
- Train and coach project group members to facilitate effective knowledge management.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficient in Mainframe testing with CICS.
- Experience in testing backend processing and green screens.
- Strong knowledge of MQueue Testing.
- Hands-on experience in Test Automation framework design, development, and implementation in a DevOps context.
- Proficient in J2ME and Spring Boot; familiarity with databases is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Splunk for monitoring and analysis.
- QA Certification is required.
- Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in settlements processes within the Capital Markets domain.
- Familiarity with distributed testing methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and manage teams in an Agile environment.
- Understanding of Agile processes, including sprint planning and story points.
- Experience in conducting daily status calls and managing project updates.
