Job Description:
Role: Project Manager
Location: Foster City, CA (Hybrid)
Role Overview
- Clients Digital Strategy & Customer Experience team within the HIV franchise.
- Focus on digital health product development, strategic alignment, and operational excellence.
- Blend of project management and strategic support (similar to Chief of Staff function).
- Reports to Sr. Director, HIV Digital Strategy & Customer Experience.
- Based in Foster City, CA 3 days/week in-office.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Health Initiative Management:
- Drive strategic HIV digital health initiatives with cross-functional teams.
- Support execution planning and tracking of digital product portfolio objectives.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Lead team operational rhythm (planning, reviews, meetings).
- Identify and implement productivity and workflow improvements.
- Executive Communication & Reporting:
- Create executive-level reports and presentations.
- Provide updates on strategic progress, risks, and team performance.
- Digital Health Roadmap Synthesis:
- Consolidate digital product roadmaps into a unified portfolio.
- Highlight dependencies, strategic alignment, and resource needs.
- Resource & Capacity Planning:
- Assist in team-level resource planning and prioritization.
- Help forecast capacity and optimize allocation.
- Cross-Functional Alignment:
- Liaise between Digital Strategy and key departments (e.g., Engineering, Medical Affairs).
- Ensure coordination on priorities and processes.
- Complex Project Management:
- Lead high-priority cross-functional projects in the HIV digital health space.
- Manage scope, timelines, risks, and successful delivery.
- Continuous Process Improvement:
- Identify operational inefficiencies and drive process improvements.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in project/program/operations management, preferably supporting senior leadership.
- Strong background in Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with Product Management and Digital Health Technologies (e.g., patient apps, provider platforms).
- Proven track record in managing strategic and complex projects.
- Skilled in executive support, communication, and reporting.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in project management tools and methodologies.
- Bachelor s degree required; Master s or certifications (PMP, Agile) a plus
