Job Details
We are hiring for a Snowflake Data Engineer who can work on a remote 12+ month contract, supporting a long term data modernization project.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows within Snowflake.
- Integrate data from various sources into Snowflake using ETL/ELT tools and techniques.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Snowflake data warehouse.
- Implement data security and governance policies within Snowflake.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to understand data requirements.
- Document data pipelines, schemas, and processes.
- Stay updated on the latest Snowflake features and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience with Snowflake data warehouse and SQL.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and warehousing principles.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and cloud platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
