- Proven success managing technology-related regulatory projects and business-sponsored initiatives requiring IT application changes.
- Expertise in audit remediation, control gap resolution, and compliance alignment with industry and regulatory standards.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within a technology organization.
- Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong skills in communication, organization, leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and issues while delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Demonstrated initiative and a "get stuff done" mindset with a focus on excellence.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience working in a Financial Services institution.
- Certifications such as PMP, PSM, or other relevant credentials.
Role Overview
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of regulatory and compliance-driven projects, ensuring alignment with internal governance and external mandates. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, compliance, risk, audit, and legal, driving initiatives that enhance operational resilience and regulatory posture.
- Project Leadership: Manage full lifecycle delivery of regulatory and audit-related projects.
- Regulatory Expertise: Oversee initiatives aligned with frameworks like SOX, Dodd-Frank, and other industry standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and clarify complex requirements.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify and mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and manage dependencies.
- Governance & Reporting: Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and status reports for leadership and audit readiness.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to compliance workflows and project efficiency.
- Team Mentorship: Guide project teams and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical and regulatory project management, with at least 2 years focused on compliance-related technology initiatives.
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries is highly desirable.
Skills & Tools
- Familiarity with control frameworks (e.g., NIST, COBIT, ISO 27001).
- Expertise in project management tools such as ADO, JIRA, or Microsoft Project.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.

- Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
- Governance, Risk, and Compliance Professional (GRCP) or similar
