Position Overview:
Technical Design Engineer who possesses in-depth knowledge and expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing SDWAN solutions. The candidate must have a strong background in Versa network appliances with knowledge of SD-WAN technologies, particularly in Versa SDWAN products. The SD-WAN Design Engineer will be responsible for understanding complex networking requirements, translating them into robust Versa /SD-WAN designs, and leading the implementation process. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Job Description :
Expertise in Versa Network and Security products
IP Routing - BGP, OSPF, Static, Network Address Translation
Next Generation Firewall capabilities, configuration, and deployment primarily
Knowledge of remote user access technologies and WAN Technologies (MPLS, MetroE, DIA, Broadband, Fiberplus)
Configure, troubleshoot, and support Versa - SDWAN & SASE platforms.
Hands-on experience in layer-3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, Static), route redistribution, and route filtering
Hands-on experience in layer-2 protocols (Spanning-tree, HSRP).
Hands-on experience with VRP, NAT
Hands-on experience with various VPN technologies (DMVPN, IPSEC)
Tunneling protocols such as SSL/TLS, IPSec, GRE, DMVPN
Authentication methodologies, including 2FA, RADIUS, LDAP, AD
Day-to-day interaction with clients, telecom providers, equipment suppliers, and 3rd party network vendors, to engage their technical as
